  Beacon Books is an excellent place for used book lovers! They've been around forever and know their books. In fact this whole little town is a great destination for book lovers. Tons of small book stores.

  I had 3 boxes of books to sell, some of them very old. I phoned to ask about bringing them in, and was not told all the information needed. I also felt that the lady who went through my books was very impersonal and not very friendly, so I was glad not to sell them any books as I would rather take them somewhere else, where hopefully they will nicer to deal with. Don't they know that books are like our old friends, and selling them is sometimes necessary, but we are going to part ways with items belonging to family members, and our own book friends which carries some emotional loss?
